Wednesday Atoms
Wednesday Atoms has been compared to R&B artists, such as Brandy, Lauryn Hill, and SADE. Although modesty keeps Wednesday from acknowledging the vocal resemblance, you will hear a strong vocal, melodic, and lyrical quality that parallels the aforementioned artists, but remains distinctly: Wednesday. Through original music, created by the singer-songwriter, Wednesday merges R&B influences with a crisp and vibrant sound t...hat unveils a futuristic component. “I am a cosmic being in a costume. I’m a futurian. I have been sent from the future to elevate the tribulations of the present,” said Wednesday in a candid interview with Newsblaze and SOP reporters. Wednesday started this Futurian mission in grammar school. During this time period, she knew that she wanted to use her talent of singing to reach people.
Wednesday hails from Stratford, CT by way of Futuria. Her diverse music and performing art background is attributed to time spent dancing with the dynamic dance group, Toxic. The group’s superior dance talent won them show time at the Apollo Theater, in Harlem, eight consecutive times. Studying and performing Shakespeare at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Theatre allowed Wednesday to garner dimension for her craft. Wednesday was a back up singer for Rahbi, from Atlanta, this past summer. In addition, she has performed at countless events for corporations, schools, and universities.
In concert, Wednesday creates an intimate experience for her audience by sharing stories and anecdotes pertaining to her life and music. She envelops the audience with the warmth of her words and uplifts their sorrows with her captivating melodies. Every audience member is undoubtedly changed after witnessing Wednesday in concert.

South Carolina's own, Natalia Shonti is destined to become a staple in the hip hop and R&B community. Born, Natalie S. Robinson, the younger of her parent's two children. Nat perfected her talent by performing at home for her musically talented family, including her uncle John Gore formerly of Alicia Keys camp. Her latest effort, "Platinum" presented by JaGore Music Group features callaborations with some of the hottest producers in R&B. On the track "Have You Seen Him?" produced by Rodney Davis (Dru Hill, Sean Cane), Natalia rides the beat with a sweet balance of grace and authority synonymous with her style. The flaming song "Its Alright, O.K." produced by Rufus Jackson (Alicia Keys) has a funky old school vibe that makes you want to get your two-step on. Omar Wilson
Omar’s collection of emotionally charged and soulful tunes is a wonderful introduction to a singer inspired by the ebbs and flows of life and family. His songs, including "Mr. Survival" and many others, tackle a broader spectrum of social issues, often excluded from contemporary R&B. His preference to comment on life experience makes it no surprise when Omar cites Tupac, Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, and all soulful singers, as major influences. Perhaps, he can credit some of his artistic sensibilities to his roots as his father was in a band called the Soul Messengers.
However, Omar prefers to utilize the self-invented term “B&R," a term meant to differentiate his often-gritty lyrics from those of other R&B singers. Omar recalls when he was only six years old, the powerful and spiritual impact of his soulful voice as it was evident to his audience at Calvary Baptist Church, in his hometown of Norwalk, CT. “When I sang solo gospel numbers, I would see the adults in the audience crying, just brought to tears and I didn’t understand what was happening or how my voice was having this effect on people.” The remarkable evolution from a vocally gifted boy into a richly diverse singer-songwriter and arranger is the blueprint of Omar’s ongoing musical journey.
At seventeen, following a troubled period in high school, Omar moved to Durham, North Carolina, where he was encouraged to rap and with his three cousins, and joined a group called the Lost Souls. While working with producer Mike City (ie. Brandy, Usher), the group generated two albums, “Soul Talk” and “Life Is Life”, distributed by Ichiban Entertainment. It was during this transition that Omar the songwriter was beginning to flourish, writing hooks and harmonies that revealed an entirely different style. “I was getting a stronger response from my singing rather than my rap which led me to concentrate on my rhythm & blues and soul sounds. I love rap because it taught me how to outline an idea of a song which I was able to use as I started to write and sing."
Audiences are continually ‘wowed’ by the performer, re-affirming the emotional reaction he received as a child during church performances. In fact, Omar has captivated audiences and has wowed his way to three time Apollo winner since 2007 and maintained his victory upon becoming Best R&B Male of the Year for both 2008 and 2009 at the Underground Music Awards held at BB Kings in NYC. In addition to his repertoire of awards, Omar released his 1st record nationally "Get to Know You Better" featuring platinum recording artist Angie Stone. Currently has his second single "The Good Life" heating up across the country. Omar plans to release a third single entitled "Faith," featuring renowned rapper/actor, DMX.
Most recently, Omar performed the National Anthem at Mohegan Sun Casino during the live broadcast of a TKO boxing event. Reflecting on his growing career It is apparent that Omar will continue to amaze the world with his talent and revel as the world becomes enthralled in his message, through song, for years to come.

Nathan Polite Jr
People call him “The Truth” meaning that he was born to sing. ‘I sing from my heart and my soul,“ - so simply describes himself the singer, songwriter and arranger Nathan Polite Jr. The manner of this young artist lays between the dynamic rhythms of Hip-Hop and lyrical R&B, in the mix with soul and gospel. Among the favorite artists of Nate’s are Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Jesse Powell, R. Kelly, Usher, Smokey Norful. Nathan discovered his talent when he was 5 years old singing in the cafeteria at Hallen School (Bridgeport, CT). Then started his first steps in the music industry: parents Nathan and Aracely Polite noticed their son’s gift. He was included in production of their own album: Nate was supposed to sing only one single line over and over again. Still it meant a lot for his future. Their producer Edwin Ramos (produced Mary J. Blige, Usher) was the first person outside the Polite family who paid attention to Nate’s gift by saying “He will be one of next great people in entertainment”. That was a sign of the kick-off for the singer’s professional “climb“.
Over the following few years with the help of Nate’s father the singing gift was getting molded. First was winning of “The best male singer” national African American caucus at 11 years of age. Then at 14 was winning of just about every talent show in Central High School (Bridgeport, CT). Nate also tried the Central’s modeling competition (and came in 2nd place) as well as participated in a few plays to develop his acting skills. This was the time of coming up to the new level. The level of being not only a great singer, but entertainer to the fullest of the meaning of this word. Soon this was uncovered at the Connecticut state wide talent show “Park City Dreams“. It auditioned 10,000 participants - and Nate was one of 20 chosen, he came in the 5th place being the only male left in the competition.
This background gave him confidence to take part in MTV‘s hit show “Making the band 4”. There Nate made top 10 out of thousands of participants from New York State. It was one of the greatest events in Nate’s music career as he got to work with some of the best industry professionals: Laurieann Gibson (choreography), Michael Bivins (singing), Sean Combs (P.Diddy). For about a week every single day Nathan was interviewed and trained in dancing and singing. He met really good friends like Qwanell Mosley (member of “Day 26” group). Out of 50 participants Nate made it in the top 20. Even though he didn’t make it to top 10 (who stayed to live in the “house”) still Nate made an appearance on the first 2 episodes of the show. ‘I wear who I am on my sleeve. So everyone can see who I am with or without knowing me personally,” - says the artist. His character is charismatic, driven for success, he is full of healthy ambition, at the same time he genuinely loves people. “In two years I want to be at the top of Billboard charts and become world famous entertainer not only because of my talent, but also in the way I give back to my community”. And indeed he has already been giving: Nate leads praise and worship ministry at “Potter’s Wheel Church”; he performed in the Apollo Theater (NYC, NY) competition (and came in the 3rd place); in the exclusive Morry’s Camp Nate was chosen as the right hand of the music director. He constantly gets invited to private events to sing R&B, the “Connecticut Post” and the “Source Magazine” call him the “Artist of the future“.
